My husband and I are currently living in retirement home. In September 2021, I noticed a significant loss of balance and coordination. Soon, I was unable to walk safely and began falling frequently. This situation led me to rely on a wheelchair for mobility within the retirement home. My doctor prescribed medication and referred me for physiotherapy. Around early November 2021, I hired Integrated Health and Personal Care based on a recommendation from another healthcare provider. For about three months, the physiotherapy team, including H. and PSW E., provided me with dedicated assistance. E. saw me three times a week and guided me through various exercises. The results were remarkable. By January 2022, I was able to walk unaided the full length of the retirement home's corridor. I could use the elevator to go down to the dining room and rejoin routine exercises offered to residents. However, the story does not end there. E., through his diligent care, noticed changes in my blood pressure that went unmonitored by the retirement home staff. When he alerted me to my dangerously high blood pressure and the lack of response from our nurse, physiotherapist H. contacted my doctor. Consequently, I received new medication, and my doctor praised E. for his vigilance. Additionally, E. went above and beyond by performing small exercises with my husband during each visit, without any extra charge. These exercises helped improve my husband's mobility. Would I recommend Integrated Health and Personal Care? Absolutely. I am deeply grateful for their exceptional care and dedication. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us. I will never be able to express my gratitude enough for the support you provided.

I had a night fall in the bathroom requiring hospitalization where it was discovered that I had a crushed vertebrae. I was admitted and treated for 5 weeks. I was eligible for a treatment center but too far down the admittance list, therefore the hospital released me to home care. Home Care endeavored to locate a PSW for me at my residence. They arranged E. of Integrating Health and Personal Care to meet me and to discuss my injury and recovery. I retained Mr. E. B immediately where he proceeded to aid in improving strength, balance and mobility. He left pictorials with exercise instructions to do on my own when there were days off. In my case I needed my husband to aid in conducting the exercises. Please note that the patient must be compliant in performing the required exercises to see improvement. Mr E. B has helped in all facets as indicated and I feel he is a dedicated PSW and recommend him without hesitation.

I am 94 years old and currently living at Retirement Residence. After my fall with broken hip and hip surgery I had reduced my tolerance of daily activities because of pain and weakness. Due to that I started to lose control of my balance to the point where I could not walk without a walker. Even getting into my son's pickup truck was a challenging task. This situation prevented me from going anywhere with my son, leaving me confined to my retirement home. Upon receiving a recommendation from a friend about Integrating Health and Personal Care, my son and I decided to explore whether private rehabilitation could be beneficial for me. We agreed to give it six weeks to see if there would be any significant improvement. To our satisfaction, the treatment extended to three months, although I wish it could have continued longer. Unfortunately, E. had to permanently move south. The three months of private rehab were definitely worth the investment. With the guidance of the physiotherapist and three visits a week from E., who conducted the exercises, I was able to not only get into my son's truck but also climb a full staircase, step by step, using one leg at a time. Although I still use my walker due to fear of falling, my strength and mobility have significantly improved. I now take the stairs instead of the elevator to go down to the dining room or attend events at our retirement home. H. and E., thank you so much for your unlimited and lovely care.
